The European project LIAISON – Lowering transport environmental impact along the whole life of the future transport infrastructure – is gearing up for its 4th Stakeholders Reference Group (SRG) workshop, set to take place online on November 13th at 9:30 CEST.
Project partners have outlined a rich and engaging draft agenda for this next SRG session, which will focus on sharing technical developments and results with key stakeholders from across the transport and infrastructure sectors.
The workshop will feature presentations from several LIAISON partners on innovative solutions to reduce the environmental impact of transport infrastructure. Topics will include:
- Fabrication, monitoring and loading test of optimized smart concrete beams, by ENPC & Acciona & Rina
- Circular concrete with energy harvesting functionalities: Tuning thermoelectric properties of cement composites using secondary raw materials, by ZAG
- Low noise & vibration circular railway confined track ballast, by ZAG
- and more to come!
The first announcement has already been sent to members of the SRG contact list. The final agenda and registration details will be shared with invitees and online soon, along with background documents supporting each of the presentations.
