The LIAISON project took part in the 12th Framework Programme Conference organised by the CDTI, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, the European Commission, Oviedo City Council, and Sekuens. The event was held in Oviedo, Spain, and brought together key national and European stakeholders to discuss the progress and future of the Horizon Europe research and innovation programme.
The conference served as an important platform to analyse the functioning of Horizon Europe and its major initiatives to date. Participants reviewed Spain’s results within the programme, identifying lessons learned and strategies to further strengthen the country’s participation and positioning in Europe.
In addition to plenary sessions and thematic discussions, attendees had the opportunity to receive personalised advice on Horizon Europe and to engage in networking meetings aimed at fostering collaboration among research and innovation actors.
A poster exhibition showcasing projects coordinated by Spanish entities and funded by Horizon Europe highlighted the diversity and impact of national participation. Among the projects presented was LIAISON, which aims to develop and demonstrate advanced multimodal transport solutions that enhance connectivity, sustainability, and efficiency across Europe.
Participation in this event allowed LIAISON to share its objectives and progress with a broad audience of policymakers, researchers, and industry representatives, reinforcing the project’s visibility within the European R&I community.
