The European project LIAISON ā Lowering transport environmental impact along the whole life of the future transport infrastructure ā is gearing up for its 3rd Stakeholders Reference Group (SRG) workshop, set to take place online on June 4th at 9:30 CEST.
Following a productive week of internal meetings, project partners have outlined a rich and engaging draft agenda for this next SRG session, which will focus on sharing technical developments and results with key stakeholders from across the transport and infrastructure sectors.
The workshop will feature presentations from several LIAISON partners on innovative solutions to reduce the environmental impact of transport infrastructure. Topics will include:
- Optimising energy consumption in tunnels through smart lighting and ventilation systems, presented by Tecnalia and Zitron.
- Circularity in road construction, featuring quantification methods, bioasphalt applications, and the use of the LIAISON Digital Toolbox, presented by Research Driven Solutions (RDS), CEDEX, and Tecnalia.
- The design and monitoring of modular road solutions for concrete pavements, led by Acciona and RINA.
- An intelligent pavement distress detection system, developed by the University of Cantabria.
In addition to the main presentations, the workshop is expected to include a round table discussion with invited stakeholders, and time for Q&A to foster interactive exchange.
The first announcement has already been sent to members of the SRG contact list. The final agenda and registration details will be shared with invitees and online by May 10th, along with background documents supporting each of the presentations.
